If we limit our challenges of what we set before us to achieve we will never reach our true potential. Not to mention, if we limit our challenges we will never see or do things outside of our comfort zone. I can guarantee that if you challenge your limits and push past them that you will find a new high and that you will want to continue to push past those limits and reach for more. I realized this after climbing up the Apennine Mountain in Italy. I challenged my limits and made it to the top. It wasn’t pretty, but I accomplished it. When I returned home I wanted to feel that same high so I challenged my limits again and again pedaling up and through the bluffs along the Mississippi River.
Next time you are faced with a challenge ask yourself, “Without challenging my limits, how will I ever know what I’m capable of?” Whether you are faced with a grueling ride, a long distance run, or even just a challenge in your professional life, you should constantly be challenging the limits of what you think you can achieve. If you set your mind to it, anything is possible.
What will you do to challenge your limits today?
